Who We Are

Our mission is to be disciples of Jesus who make disciples for Jesus. Jesus. Family. Fellowship. We are passionate about introducing people to the love of Jesus. Real life-change and a deep commitment to Christ are our focus. We would rather have a few passionately pursuing Christ than a building overflowing with people warming the seats. We actively pursue Jesus in everything we do, and we believe God has given us a vision for a church that is deeply rooted in Him and His Word. We want to love God and love people while pursuing Godly relationships and fellowship. We believe Jesus says come as you are, but don't stay as you are! He is calling us deeper into Himself to live a faith-filled, fully devoted, sold-out, all-In life, pursuing Him above any of our own desires. We are called to come and die to ourselves, so we can live for Him. We want people to experience God's life-changing power through His truth and grace. We want people to have a REAL relationship with a REAL God who REALLY loves them.

We are The Remnant.

We Desire Authentic Relationships

We are relational to our core...it's in our DNA. We were not created to do life alone. We’re made to live in community; to be connected to the body. Being SELF-LESS is the key to meaningful and lasting relationships, but we can’t do this effectively at a distance…We have to be intentional; we have to take the initiative – we must seek out time to fellowship together. Have you ever looked closely at the word Friend? FR   I    END
I END is hard for us because we’re selfish by nature. But we have a friend who is the ultimate example of SELF-LESS. He came to this earth to END. He said I END my very life for you. That's the example He gave us so that we would practice this in our Authentic Relationships.

"There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." - John 15:13

Our Kids and Students Matter

We care deeply about kids and students because they matter to God. We take seriously our responsibility to disciple the next generation because God commands us to. We believe our kids and students need the Gospel the same as we do. We do not shy away from tough subjects, because our enemy doesn’t shy away from tough situations. Life is real; therefore, our instruction should reflect reality.

We Want to be Community Outreachers

We want to be intentional about focusing outward vs. inward. We want to see His kingdom come and His will be done in Missoula and beyond as it is in Heaven. Therefore, we will not be content with building our own Christian kingdom. Instead, we will engage in our community to bring the love of Jesus to everyone. Because the earth and everything in it belongs to the Lord, we see ourselves as stewards and not owners. Therefore, we hold loosely everything God gives us.

What We Believe

There is only one God

There is only one God, and He is the creator of all things. He is infinitely perfect and has existed eternally as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God who is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever present, never changing, lovingly compassionate, entirely faithful, and fully worthy of our trust.

“…For there is no other God but me, a righteous God and Savior. There is none but me. Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other.” - Isaiah 45:21-22

Jesus was fully God and fully man

Jesus was fully God and fully man. As God’s one and only Son, He lived a sinless life here on this earth and gave Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world by dying on a cross. He demonstrated His power over sin and death through his resurrection from the dead after three days. Jesus is Lord and one day He will return for His people... The Remnant.

In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God… So the Word became human and made His home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen His glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. - John 1:1, 14

•He was fully God and fully man – Colossians 2:9-10 •He was born through a miraculous virgin birth – Matthew 1:22-23 •He is the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace – Isaiah 9:6 •He is our Lord – Romans 1:3-4 •He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords – 1 Timothy 6:14-15 •He is the Son of God and our High Priest; He never sinned – Hebrews 4:14-15 •He died for our sins and arose from death on the third day – 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 •He is our perfect sacrifice for our sins once and for all time – Hebrews 10:10-14 •He ascended into Heaven and will return one day – Acts 1:9-11

The Holy Spirit lives within every Christian

The Holy Spirit dwells inside everyone who, through faith, has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit is our helper. He empowers us and equips us to grow spiritually and to share Jesus with everyone who does not have a personal relationship with Jesus. The Holy Spirit also gives every believer spiritual gifts that are to be used for the Glory of God.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate [Helper] who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you - John 14:16-17

•He dwells in every Christian – 1 Corinthians 3:16 •He is our helper who leads us into all truth – John 16:7-13 •You receive Him the moment you put your faith in Jesus – Ephesians 1:13 •He gives every Christian at least one spiritual gift – 1 Corinthians 12:1-11

The Word is true

The Bible is God’s Holy and Living Word and is the absolute truth without error. The Holy Spirit is the divine author and originator of the Bible. It is not the result of man’s interpretation and is not the product of human effort. God used the individual personalities and experiences of the human writers, but it was the Holy Spirit who breathed the words into their hearts and minds.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work.
- 2 Timothy 3:16-17

•The Word is NOT the result of human effort – 2 Peter 1:20-21 •The Word is living and powerful – Hebrews 4:12 •The Word is our guide – Psalm 119:105 •The Word is without error – Psalm 12:6; Proverbs 30:5 •The Word never returns empty – Isaiah 55:11 •His Word is given so we will believe and obey – Romans 16:25-26 •His Word is eternal – Isaiah 40:8

Salvation is God's gift, but we must accept it through faith

Salvation is available to everyone, but we only receive it if we put our complete trust in Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. Salvation is not about religion or rules; it’s about a relationship with the one and only God that begins totally as a work of grace through our faith. Genuine salvation is Jesus + NOTHING and results in a changed life. While our obedience can never earn us our salvation, it does demonstrate our love for Him, so we never use God’s grace as an excuse to sin more.

We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. - Romans 3:22-23

•Salvation is by His grace through our faith – Ephesians 2:8-9 •Salvation means we are made brand new – 2 Corinthians 5:17 •Salvation is a gift – Romans 6:23 •We receive salvation ONLY through Jesus – John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 John 5:12 •We must choose it – Romans 10:9-10 •We must be born again – John 3:3 •Belief in the Gospel (death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus) = salvation – Romans 1:16-17; Romans 5:8-11 •Genuine salvation = changed life – Galatians 5:22-24; Ephesians 4:22-24; 1 John 2:3-6; John 14:15

Everyone has an Eternal Destination

Every person has an eternal destination: either eternally separated from God by sin in hell or eternally united with God through forgiveness and salvation in Heaven.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord - Romans 6:23

•Your destination will either be in hell with eternal punishment or in Heaven with eternal life – Matthew 25:31-34, 25:41; 25:46 •Some saved and some lost – Romans 2:5-7 •Sadly, few go to Heaven, and many go to hell – Matthew 7:13-14 •Your name must be written in the Lamb's (Jesus's) Book of Life - Revelation 20:11-15, 21:27 •If you have Jesus, you have eternal life – John 3:16, 3:18, 3:36; 1 Peter 1:3-5; 1 John 5:11-13

The Church is NOT a building; it's the Body of Christ

The church is the body of Christ and exists to glorify God by knowing Jesus Christ and making Him known to a lost and dying world.

Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. - Ephesians 4:15

•There is unity and diversity in God’s body – 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; Romans 12:4-5 •How you live as part of God’s body matters – Matthew 3:8, 22:36-40 •Knowing Jesus is not a religion, it’s a relationship – Proverbs 3:6; John 17:3; Philippians 3:10; 1 John 2:4 •As Christ’s body we fellowship together and encourage one another – Hebrews 10:24-25 •His body makes disciples – Matthew 28:18-20
